Date Night: Outfit Choices
The Burning Questions before every date are:
" What should I wear?"
"Will my date like what I'm wearing?"
"Am I confident enough to wear this?"
Whether you're currently dating or married, you will always have these questions going through your mind every single time due to the fact that you want to look & feel good. I've been married for 3 years and I still question myself whether or not my husband will think I'm beautiful (he does tell me everyday that I'm beautiful but its definitely different when its a date night). You could have hundreds of clothes in your closet and still have no idea of what to wear.
Well look no further, I am here to help with a few styling tips to make you quickly know what you want to wear and feel amazing in the process.
Pick out something you haven't worn yet
- God forbid, if you are someone like me who loves shopping, you can buy a piece of clothing and never end up wearing them. So for a special occasion like this, its a great opportunity to take out that piece of clothing and wear it for the first time. You absolutely bought it for a reason, why not use it now?
Wear something based on the weather
- We all want to look our best with that favorite tank top we always love to wear, but not when its 20 degrees outside. Dress to your comfort! Even if its winter and freezing out, layering can always be cute. Who knows, maybe you can still wear that tank top and pair it with a cute, warm cardigan or blazer. You have vast variety of choices. Even when its hot out, don't make yourself suffer with a thick cardigan in 80 degree weather, a cute simple midi dress can make you look beautiful for the date.
Wear what makes you feel good
- Growing up I've always been judged about the choices of what I wanted to wear on a date but now? Forget it and you do you! Just always remember people will always judge you, but its the way you respond to it. If you love wearing bright colors, wear them. If you love wearing combat boots with a maxi dress, rock it! As long as you're confident in what you're wearing, you shouldn't care what others think of you, especially your date.
There's nothing wrong with the Basics
- If you are a simple person, you can always pair a cute blouse with jeans and such, it'll still be a great date night outfit. Highly would recommend wearing something basic especially if you're going out bowling or partaking in any physical activity. No one would want to get their skirt stuck on a bowling ball machine (don't doubt, it has happened before).
